Wix

Custom code

Wix adds the script to every page through its Custom Code settings. No editing of pages needed.

Wix allows custom code on sites with a Premium plan and a connected domain.

1 Open Custom Code

In your Wix dashboard go to Settings → Custom Code (under Advanced) and click + Add Custom Code.

2 Paste the script

Custom Code
<script async src="https://cdn.pixelary.app/s/px_7hq2lm4x.js"></script>

Then set:

  • Name: Pixelary
  • Add Code to Pages: All pages, Load code once
  • Place Code in: Head

Click Apply. Wix publishes custom code right away.

3 Verify

Open your site on its connected domain. The Install page in the dashboard turns green when the first event arrives. Add the domain to the site in the dashboard first: events from other domains are ignored.

Pixelary sends nothing a visitor has declined. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it waits for the visitor’s yes before any pixel loads or any event leaves the page.

Visitors from Europe need a consent banner

Without a banner, Pixelary never gets a yes from visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, so they are not tracked.

Pixelary reads these on its own, with no extra setup:

  • Google Consent Mode v2
  • IAB TCF 2.2
  • Global Privacy Control
  • Cookiebot
  • OneTrust
  • CookieYes
  • Usercentrics
  • Complianz
  • iubenda
  • Termly
  • Osano
  • CookieFirst
  • Didomi (via TCF)
  • Framer cookie banner

Another banner can pass its answer with one line of code. Consent & banners
